None, I’m afraid.  Planted string beans in garden; baked a loaf of bread; canned 6 jars of grapefruit marmalade.

  • Brekky: 1 slice of honey-bran bread with bit o’ whipped butter and grapefruit marmalade, fresh fruit consisting of sliced strawberries apple, and banana slices; coffee w/ homemade soymilk.
  • Lunch: 2 bowls of leftover minestrone soup
  • Mid-afternoon snack: 1 slice of honey-bran bread with bit o’ whipped butter and grapefruit marmalade, Taylor Maid “Farm House Decaf” coffee w/homemade soymilk.
  • Dinner: Union Hotel small pizza (pepperoni, green pepper, onions, olives); beer; mesclun salad

Something’s better than nothing!  Took 2.8 mile RT walk around neighborhood with hubby.

  • Brekky: 2 slices of honey-bran bread with bit o’ whipped butter and grapefruit marmalade, fresh fruit consisting of sliced strawberries apple, and banana slices; coffee w/ homemade soymilk.
  • Lunch: Leftover Mexican meal: 1 cheese/corn enchilada in pasilla pepper sauce, Mexican brown rice, cowboy beans; bowl of leftover minestrone soup; leftover, warmed-up blue corn pancakes w/sunflower and pumpkin seeds, decaf Taylor Maid Farm House coffee w/soymilk.
  • Dinner: Hubby cooked Indian meal tonight (since he stayed at home from work today, recuperating from pneumonia!): chickpea curry, cauliflower and red bell pepper dish, sauteed potatos, chutney, yogurt, and I had beer (Italian).

  • Brekky: 2 slices of honey-bran bread with bit o’ whipped butter and grapefruit marmalade, fresh fruit consisting of blueberries, strawberry, apple, and banana slices; coffee w/ nonfat milk (ran out of homemade soymilk).
  • Lunch: Bowl of leftover minestrone soup; blue corn pancakes w/bit o’ whipped butter & maple syrup; leftover fruit from brekky
  • Dinner: Ate out at Hana Sushi.  Had 3 maguro tuna sushi; miso soup; salad greens & fruit w/bit o’ sesame dressing; edamame; a few bites of teriyaki salmon & white rice; 2 small cups hot sake, green tea
  • Dessert: 2 oz. chocolate ice cream + sweet cracker at Screamin’ Mimi’s

Walked 0.7 mi. RT to Harrison Grade Rd.  Picked up a very full plastic bag of trash from both sides of roadway, going up and down.  The County sent through some awful machine that devastated the vegetation (and everything else) in its way for about a yard in from each side of the paved roadway.  Did a lot of weeding in the garden today.

  • Brekky: 2 slices of honey-bran bread with bit o’ whipped butter and grapefruit marmalade, fresh fruit consisting of blueberries, strawberry, apple, and banana slices; coffee w/ homemade soymilk.
  • Lunch: Scrambled egg + 2 egg whites w/green onions & Tabasco sauce; broiled 2 x 1/2 tomatoes, fresh-squeezed OJ (orange from out tree); hash brown potato w/ketchup; 2 slices honey-bran bread with bit o’ whipped butter and grapefruit marmalade, coffee w/ homemade soymilk + 3 small blue corn flour pancakes w/maple syrup, butter, & coffee.
  • Dinner: 3 servings (!) of home-made macaroni & cheese (hubby made it–comfort food, cause he’s ill) w/peas and carrots. White wine.

  • Lunch:  Leftover homemade corn & cheese enchiladas in homemade pasilla chile sauce; homemade cowboy beans; homemade “Mexican” brown rice, and kale salad.
  • Dinner: Two bowls of home-made minestrone soup; 4 slices of garlic bread; white wine.

  • Brekky: 2 slices of honey-bran bread with bit o’ whipped butter and grapefruit marmalade, fresh fruit consisting of blueberries, strawberry, apple, and banana slices; coffee w/ homemade soymilk.
  • Lunch: In Petaluma, at River French Bistro:  White bean soup (yum); spinach salad w/ pear, gorgonzola, pecans; 2 small slices bread w/millet in it! Lots of water.
  • Dinner: Salmon, marinated in soy sauce & ginger & broiled; anchovy paste, hot dried chili pepper, broccoli raab, and garlic pasta shells; Bibb lettuce, arugula, orange, and grapefruit salad w/pecans & feta
  • Post-dinner snack:  Decaf Tea w/ honey-bran bread with bit o’ whipped butter and grapefruit marmalade, and rest of fruit from brekky.
