This is Day 2 of trying to eliminate dairy from my diet, to see what difference it makes in how I feel. So, here goes:
Breakfast: Scottish oatmeal with homemade soymilk, coffee with soymilk,
homemade Russian rye bread, with butter(!) and a bit of jam (I think). 1/2 banana, 1/2 apple.
Lunch: At Farm House in Sebastopol: The usual 3 poached eggs (laid by our hens), I usually just pick out the whites, with hot sauce. 2 slices whole wheat toast, with butter(!) and 2 tsps. of Seedless Blackberry Jam. Coffee with non-dairy creamer (I should take soymilk with me, should I go tomorrow). Iceberg lettuce salad with ranch dressing (I’ll try lemon wedges & salt next time).
Dinner: 2 bowls of homemade Pasta e Lendiche soup, with spinach, and kamut and quinoa pasta. Recipe from “Summer Pasta/Winter Pasta.” Ate with a little leftover home-baked Russian rye bread.
